Soldiers of Solomon, a hacking group supporting the Palestinian cause, has reported that it has “successfully” hacked Flour Mills Ltd, Israel’s largest flour production plant in Haifa Bay.

Threat actors claim that they have greatly damaged their production cycle. To demonstrate that they are telling the truth, they have made publicly available a video and different graphic files with plans of the factory to which they would have had access.

Soldiers of Solomon is a hacking group that has long engaged in information warfare operations on behalf of Palestine. With Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, its activity has increased in recent weeks.

In addition to this attack on the plant, the ‘Solomon soldiers’ recently announced that they had extracted and encrypted with ransomware 25 TB of data from the Nevatim military zone in Israel.

The group boasted of having obtained full control of more than 50 servers, including access to security cameras and the management system of smart cities in the area, deactivating more than 1,300 points in different cities.

Likewise, these threat actors would also have obtained detailed information about the personnel and their families at the Nevatim Air Base. To show that they are not bluffing, they have shared screenshots and video recordings and other relevant images of the base.

The Nevatim cyberattack was followed a few days later by another on the Ashalim power plant, located in the Negev desert and “discharged outside its power distribution circuit.”

Soldiers of Solomon would work with ransomware as a service, not its own. In a clandestine forum they told how they use the Crucio variant, which is an ad hoc ransomware.

The group is sharing all these activities through its Telegram channel, which was created on October 13. In addition, they have also started sending emails to journalists and media outlets to report their exploits.
